Do any of my local friends know anything about the chemical spill on Mica St, Carole Park? Went past one end of the street to take Cris to college (there and back) and on the way, police were controlling the roundabout on Formation St/Mica St/ Logan Mwy, getting people out of Mica St asap, and on the way back, they had closed the roundabout coming off the Logan Mwy, so that nobody could go towards the Mica St roundabout...7 News van turned up while I was waiting to come back through...all they had on the radio was there was a chemical spill on private property there, and Fire Brigade were doing their best to control it, and theyve put up a 300m evacuation/exclusion zone around it...scary.........
