Do any of you ever come across successful, beautiful shops that are doing the OPPOSITE of all of the advice youve heard regarding how to be successful on Etsy? Last night, I was looking around and came across a shop that has several thousand sales and she does not: 1. model headbands on a live model, especially every single new headband; she has some stock photos she uses with every listing to show how a headband will fit, but its not THAT headband 2. she has several DIFFERENT kinds of unrelated products (clothing, headbands, key chains, etc.), not just one tight, cohesive product line 3. she does NOT take most of her pictures on a white background All three of these things are exactly the opposite of advice I have been given over the past few months regarding Etsy success. And shes not the only one Ive seen to break rules. My head is spinning.
