Do be a successful independent wrestler you need more than just the in-ring talend! There is more than being an athlete who is hitting the Gym everyday plus the wrestling training, watching the diet, stay in good shape. You need to be a good sales person to sale your brand (you) to the promoters, doing your own marketing, import/export for your merchandise, you need to be good at logistics, having a good time management, a great customer service (the fans and the promoter) do your own accounting and having skills with working with social media, you need to be able to book flights and hotels, you need to do researches on the market, don´t forget the public relations and i bet i forgot so much more. It is a full time job and you really need to be smart, beside all the prejudices to be a wrestler is more than just jumping around in spandex! i have so much respect for this job. Sometimes i´m getting tired of doing all of the above, but in the end i´m getting rewarded with great fans, with great places i work and wonderful people i meet down the road! To be a wrestler is my dream! Thank you for following my road!
