Do not.. I repeat, DO. NOT. EVER. USE. TIDY CATS LIGHTWEIGHT CAT LITTER. Amy and I bought that crap a little over a week ago and opened and used it the other day. Our poor little baby cat has had nothing but problems since.. He immediately started developing upper respiratory symptoms.. Stuffy nose, sneezing/coughing. At first I thought maybe he was just having his first hair ball and having a bit of an odd reaction, but he didnt puke up a hair ball and just kept having these weird cold symptoms. (Luckily, he hasnt had any other issues/symptoms at all.. No lethargy, no acting like he cant breath, etc.) Obviously we were worried, and I have been racking my brain trying to figure out what could be causing this.. Then, this morning, I was getting ready for class and I heard him using the litter box, then a few minutes later I heard him sneezing/coughing, and it dawned on me.. Maybe its the new litter. I googled it and my phone exploded with reviews about this litter causing upper respiratory infections, asthma attacks, severe respiratory distress/issues, and DEATH. This litter is KILLING cats. We are so worried about our little baby cat.. I am heading home from class early today to buy our old litter and dump the entire contents of the litter box and clean everything around it. Hopefully, that will fix the problem and Zodi will get better and wont have anymore issues. But please, FOR THE LOVE OF EVERYTHING HOLY, do NOT use this litter!!!
