Do not be fooled by my laughter.. By my atrocious sense of humor.. By my confidence .. By the way I carry myself.. Or the way I dare to laugh at myself ..... Or my endless enthusiasm... I am fragile too.. There are times I feel a dark cloud of disappointment overshadowing my otherwise cheerful and energetic demeanor .. My expectations of those I love are often times diminished by their own selfish acts! But when I am able to segregate the acts from the people .. They are seldom personal.. Its more likely that they are weathering their own storms .. They are scrambling for an umbrella to avoid getting wet ... And are not purposely neglecting my needs :) then I realize that they are the ones that need my extra attention and not my neglect .. They need my support more than others at that particular time .. To recognize and acknowledge this is very empowering.. This gives me the confidence to stand tall and realize that while I am flawed.... I am still a beautiful soul... bP
