Do not buy firewood from Don Pinnow (might be spelled wrong). I posted on the Ninilchik Buy, Sell Trade FB page asking for somebody to sell me good dry seasoned firewood and Sarah J gave me his phone number so mu husband called him. He was quick to deliver 2 loads. One load was short of a cord...more like 2/3s of a cord but he made good on that by bringing a heaping load of trashy soggy wood and collecting for 2 loads...yes - $180 x 2. We were suckered - dont let this happen to you! He brought us a load of wood that is so wet it sprays water when it splits. I called a week after he dropped it off and asked him to come and get it and give our money back and was told he would bring another load to make it right. It has now been over 8 weeks and many many tries to reach him but nothing. He has $180 of my hard earned money and this wood will not burn for at least 3 years...if it doesnt rot before it dries...Dont let this happen to you.
