Do not ever ship a package from another country to the U.S. My - TopicsExpress

Do not ever ship a package from another country to the U.S. My experience says UPSP will lose it, even with a tracking number tape, and after it shows documented entry to the U.S. I sent a small box from Japan (where I had been working) with books and papers from that work on March 22. It arrived at a USPS facility in Jersey City, NJ on March 28. It has not been seen or heard of since, and USPS refuses to start a search until the Japanese Postal Service does so--even though the box was on U.S. soil. It cost $100 to mail it; I should have paid Delta Airlines the $100 for extra baggage. Lesson for all my Facebook friends!
