Do not expect to be treated fairly in this life. People will say and do hurtful things to you, things that you dont deserve. When someone mistreats you, try to view it as an opportunity to grow in grace. See how quickly you can forgive the one who has wounded you. Dont be concerned about setting the record straight. Instead of obsessing about other peoples opinions of you, keep your focus on God. Ultimately, it is His view that counts. Colossians 3:13 Bear with one another, and forgiving one another, if anyone has a complaint against another; we must forgive one another even as Christ forgave us. Ephesians 1:7 In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace Romans 5:5 The love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us.
