Do not forget the boat show is going on this weekend in the metroplex. I would love to be there it is one of our favorite events, walking around checking out new yachts and toys, water toys all the big boy toys are on display at this show this weekend through next weekend. You dont want to miss it. A fantastic event and a lot of our folks here at PK are at the show, Realtors, our East Side Chamber of Commerce, our Marinas. So theres a lot of good folks there go check it out! PK is a great place to have your vacation home, boats, youre happy place! Great fun great friends great hangouts! One of our favorite homes on the market right now is in the Cliffs on a waterfront lot and its called Vista Largo. We have had the privilege of cleaning this palace on several occasions. In a perfect world it is the home that I would own, sporting three stories, with a grand spiral staircase and elevator. The top floor has a fireplace in the master suite, balconies that have concrete railing, a very palatial appearance, with an infinity pool that is to die for and spas off the pool. The top level of the Vista Largo has a round Tourette, it would be awesome for a home office space or just a sitting area with the 360 view of Cliff lines, water and beautiful West Texas views and sunsets. The lowest level has an incredible media room, numerous bedrooms and a wine cellar. The spiral staircase goes from the bottom to the top and is grand, it would make a beautiful setting for a bride coming down to the main level in a wedding. The main level hosts a bedroom, A marble bathroom suite and an outdoor shower, a massive living area, a cozy but spacious dining area. The kitchen that any woman would want or me, lol! We could do some amazing food preparations, feeding lots of people hosting great events. The kitchen has gorgeous stainless steel oversize appliances, granite tops, dark cabinets and a walk up bar area, with a huge island serving area. The outdoor living space has a kitchen and fireplace and wrap around balconies.The main level has incredible oversize window walls that push back into the wall to extend the outdoor living into the indoor main living area. The outdoor shower would be off the hook out here in West Texas enjoying the starlit nights, shooting stars, beautiful moon and sunsets, sunrise views overlooking the lake and Morris Shepherd dam and a beautiful water view with cliff lines that are 200 feet above PK. One of my favorite features about the Vista Largo is the fact that it is a smart home and at the entrance you can push one button and turn every light off in the house in the event that you forgot one you dont have to go up and down three levels you hit one button and it shuts the whole house lighting system down. The Cliffs is one of our favorite resorts, has a great golf course, spa and fitness center, hotel, conference center, A fine dining restaurant, not to mention the 19th hole as I like to refer to it, with a full bar, sitting areas, flatscreen TVs on the wall, music and window views so you can gaze out over the lake, the dam, cliff lines looking to the north. When we lived in The Cliffs, I enjoyed massages on a regular basis. I miss some of those times but its just a fantastic place to have your vacation home. The restaurant has an outside patio overlooking one of the golf holes number nine overlooking the water. So many great areas in the Cliffs for weddings and events and parties and conferences or business meetings. A must staycation for 2014 close to home, an hour and a half west of Fort Worth. The resort hosts concrete streets a gated 24 hour entrance with security guards. The Cliffs provide a toll lane so if you have a toll tag it can be registered for a quicker entry, bypassing the guard check in. The Cliffs has two swimming pool areas, tennis courts, and an RV park with full hookups and a dump station that will accommodate huge RV motor coaches or small pop up campers and everything in between. One of our clients Grandeur Designs, Susan Semmelmann, has staged the Vista Largo and it is a must-see interior design idea. Susan has phenomenal taste and knows how to stage areas of grand proportions or small proportions with a perfect balance. I would change the name from Vista Largo to the Bishops Palace if I bought it. I have great plans and visions for this future home, lol! There are many great Realtors out here that are committed to finding your PK happy place whether palatial, small, inexpensive or the millions dont miss out on this hidden treasure called Possum Kingdom Lake, There is an airstrip that can accommodate small jets private jets on the east side and Mineral Wells is 30 minutes away with a larger airport. Great times fly fishing at the bridge for trout, weve enjoyed that many times, they stock the river in the winter season for trout. Weve had several occasions to fish PK, great coves for fishing or partying, largemouth, smallmouth bass, stripers sandbass, catfish. PK is a great fishing, recreation, and water conservation lake. We are alive and well at PK East and West side. Beautiful sandy beaches, State Park, and numerous campgrounds. Cliff diving events coming this year, firework shows off of Hellsgate.
