Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen. Eph 4:29 It is very important that we THINK before we speak! Anything & everything that comes out of your mouth can either edify or break down... It is crucial that we make every effort to be, think, & speak positive. Many of us, because of lifes circumstances, have become bitter & ugly. You are constantly judging, criticizing, & assuming. You see nothing good in anything....expect nothing good :( You always find a reason to hate on someONE or someTHING....this is SAD :( We are instructed, in the word, to walk in love... First & foremost, you must LOVE on YOURSELF before you can genuinely love on others... Secondly, do all you can to always find the best in others & the good in every circumstance or situation... We are to comfort one another...build each other up....encourage one another... Be careful to always say the right thing at the right time....there is a time & a place for everything! SOMEONE is always listening or watching...be a good example. GOD....is ALWAYS watching. WWJD? This is a good way to stay on your toes.. What Would JESUS Do?...or say? I KNOW, at times we react & speak out of fear, guilt, anger, despair, pain, hurt, disappointment, etc. We spit out whatever comes to mind out of EMOTION.... We ARE human.... BUT we need to learn to discipline our mouth & actions! Treat others, the way YOU wish to be treated or spoken to... Seems simple enough, doesnt it? But for some, it is NOT.... I pray for a healing of mind, heart, & soul for each and everyone of us. That we are promptly quickened & that we learn to THINK before we speak or react. That we RECOGNIZE how important words can be, so that we can help edify and build each other up. TOGETHER we can build strong foundations! No matter what magnitude shakes us...TOGETHER we can endure & overcome
