Do not let what you cannot do interfere with what you CAN do. - Coach John Wooden Day 20: Two Awesome Moves for Tight Hamstrings and Hips There was a time after the birth of my son, even after I was cleared to exercise 7 months later, that I could NOT do these moves. My flexibility was shot and my internal and core strength was lessoned to zero. With practice, patience and positivity, I was able to do these exercises and earn my spot back to running. No matter where you start, you can get there and improve everything else you do. Practice these two moves for hamstring, lower back, chest and hip flexor opening and performance preparation. Take your time and gradually add a little more speed as you warm up. 1. Iron Cross - X 10 each side 2. Scorpion - X 10 each side. 3. Repeat Sequence 2 more times. Next, Run like the wind. Why? Because you can. If you feel like you cannot run today, then start with a walk for 60 seconds and run for 20 seconds. Repeat X 10. #sweatonceaday #deardecember #start
