Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. 1 John 2:15 Our hope has to be in God not the world. The world will let you fall each day if you let it get to you. The world has nothing to offer us, God has everything we could ever dream of! I don’t measure success in my accomplishments that men give me credit for, I measure success in the ways God uses me and has used me! We are not to fear the world we are to love God! God is #1 no matter what! All the blessings we have are not because the world gave them to us, God gave them to us! When you hear about someone saving another person in a subway, that is the work of God! Everything we do should be to honor God and bring him praise! I would rather be happy homeless than miserable in a mansion! Happiness is where the heart is, and that should be focused on God! We so often get caught up in the promises of the world. Like a job with great benefits then after 10 years of being there they have to cut back and you lose your benefits. God has everything we ever need! Don’t get wants mixed up with needs. The world will let you down, but God promises he will carry you! Love God with all your heart and all your soul! Let his love radiate from you to show others the way to him!
