Do not say you miss me, do not say goodbye, for I have never left you, you do not need to cry. I remember well that day, the day I had to pass, the day I swopped the human realm for one thats full of grass. Come along, follow me, let us go on for a walk, Just enjoy the gentle pacing there is no need to talk. Can you remember mom? How it used to feel? How you used to cuddle me after every meal? I love you so much mom, that will never change. and I know you cannot see me now and that must be so strange. But Im with you every day mom, I thought you ought to know, I know you feel it really, I watch your tears still flow. You do not need to cry mom, everythings alright, Im not in any pain here, theres nothing here to fight. Instead I come with you, everytime you start the day, Even when its dark outside Ill help you find your way. It looks a little different, when you stand this side, I can see it all you know and you really ought take pride. Look at how well youve done, look at my little pup, not so little now for she is all grown up. I see the way you look at her, I see that swell of love, but I also see that tenderness when you turn and look above. Let us walk backwards mom, let us glance at the past, look at all that happened, it all went by so fast. Do you remember my first day, when I would be so slow, and then that other day, playing in the snow? All the laughs and loves we shared, we lived for one another, You were always there for me, and helped me be a mother. We will always be together, our spirits are entwined, Our species may be different but our souls are aligned. When your life is over and everything is done, we shall walk together, together in the sun. But do not look too forward, do not wish your time away, I want to watch you longer till you are old and gray.
