Do not take this rant as like I am having a bad day. I am not, just have to vent and get a couple of things off my heavy shoulders. **I got a call from my 8 year old son at 9:30 a.m. He and his older brother were fighting over a pepperoni pizza. #1: I am at work! #2: What can I do about it at the moment kids?? #3 Why are you cooking a pepperoni pizza at 9:30 in the morning? #4: My youngest sons dad is there, so why is he calling me? Wheres dad at? 19 more days until school starts. It cannot get here soon enough. ** The office staff of my ghetto apartment, located in what is like the Hood, had left letters on the doors of all the apartments. They will be replacing all missing, cracked or broken mini-blinds. Each apartment must look uniform from the outside, however it costs $25 per blind to be replaced and will be charged accordingly to the renters account. SCREW THAT!!! I have a total of 5 windows!! As for the mini-blinds, if they wouldnt provide the cheapest, most brittle blinds possible I dont think they would be having such a problem. I mean I can take one of the slats and literally break it, like I was ripping a piece of paper they are that cheap and flimsy. I pay way too much for rent already for my crappy apartment the way it is. My rent should cover replacing mini-blinds! I mean seriously! I am going to measure my windows, buy and install them myself. Plus they should worry about what the buildings look like on the inside, not only what is seen from the outside. Grr! **My joke for today: Two blondes saw some tracks. One said they were deer tracks, the other said they were bear tracks. They were still arguing when the train hit them. :)
