Do the Muslims achieve anything? The killing of 10 journalists, 3 policemen and four civilians by the Al Qaeda terrorists in France has shattered the entire Europe and the world. By not participating aggressively like America in the Afghanistan and Iraq European countries like France, Germany, Sweden, Belgium etc. tried to keep them safe from the Islamic terrorist attacks. Spain also withdrew from Iraq war after a metro train was attacked in Madrid and 200 people got killed. But with the advent of Islamic State (IS) hundreds of Muslim British, German, French, and Swedish & Belgian nationals somehow managed to slip into Syria and Iraq and wage a war there against the same Muslims. When the air attack by US & its allies prevented their initial swift progress, many of them have come back to Europe and have started terrorist attacks or planning to do so in future. The prospects of cheap labour have encouraged the European governments to make the immigrant laws simpler and allow the Muslims from North Africa & South Asia. But, a civilizational conflict has ensued there where the Muslims want to impose their own religious belief, practice and culture on the Europeans. The Europeans practise liberal democracy which says, ‘No matter what a journalist or magazine has to say, he or it has the right to say so even if it is not accepted by the majority’. This is the essence of democracy. But the Muslims say, none can make any comment on them or draw any cartoon on them. If anybody does so, he dies. But have the Muslims gained any benefit out of that? New right wing anti-Muslim parties in the European countries have risen their head and it may force the European governments to restrict the entry of the Muslims to their countries. Should we impose our culture or way of life on the countries where we go for our livelihood? Should we not try to assimilate ourselves to their society? Utkal Bharat strongly denounces the killing of people by the Islamic terrorists in France. The entire world should unite to finish off these terrorists. Before they damage our civilization and culture, we must join hands to finish these extremists.
