Do the right thing and get that TV off the end of your driveway or boulevard, its not going to magically disappear. From the Sandwich, IL website: Second Saturday of each month (Thats Dec. 13th, this coming weekend) Electronic Recycling Guidelines The City of Sandwich is pleased to offer recycling for electronics only on the Second Saturday of each month. Hours are from 12:30PM to 2:30PM only. The sole location is the East Water Tower on Duvick Avenue, northwest of Plano Molding. See the general guidelines here: Please remember: •Tube Televisions and Monitors--Any tube TV/monitor that is missing parts or a power cord is subject to a charge of $15. •Only one tube TV/monitor OR one projection TV OR one console TV will be accepted per family per session. The item must be intact/not stripped and have a power cord which is not cut. •Additional small TVs/monitors brought at the same session by the same family are subject to a $10 charge. Large TVs brought at the same session by the same family are subject to a $15 charge. •No deposits of electronic waste at either water tower during any other time period. Abandoning any waste at either water tower location constitutes illegal dumping and will be prosecuted. •Electronics only. Cardboard/paper, metal and glass should be handled via your normal disposal service and not brought to these events.
