Do we believers - believe? I have heard people say Pray for my healing. and then later, after we have prayed say I dont know how long I am going to have this, I cant seem to shake it. Or I have heard people say, Pray I find a job. and after we prayed for them to get the job GOD had for them, they bad mouth every possible position they apply for. Do we really believe GOD has a plan and is working that plan in our lives? Do we rest in the knowing HE has that plan and go about our day doing our part and fulfilling our destiny or do we chop up the plan with our words. In the Bible there was a couple that was older and when the woman became pregnant in her old age the angel of the LORD had to shut the mouth of the man so he couldnt spew unbelieving words forth form his lips. If a job interview doesnt go the way you believe it should or the job offer is not the kind you think you want then rather than spew unbelief say, LORD, I thank you for the job that is the provision of YOUR hand and declare I am employed and fulfilled in YOUR divine favor. If we have prayed and you still feel sick then as you are recovering remember to watch your words and with every sniffle, sneeze, cough, ache, vomiting, or pain. just say Thank you LORD that by the stripes of JESUS I am healed Thank you for my healing. We all have to change our own minds. We have to change our own words. (putting away soapbox)
