Do we in the church want leadership, or agreement? The difficulty of embracing strong and effective leadership, is having to follow on the basis of trust, not agreement. How can leaders lead us into positive change and growth if agreement is necessary to follow. After all what changes in our lives if we agree with everything our leader is directing us towards. It would behoove us all to find a leader not that we agree with all the time, but that we trust! To be an effective leader you dont have to be the most persuasive, but the most character filled!
