Do we see a Pattern HERE? Deu_4:2 Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the LORD your God which I command you. Deu_4:13 And he declared unto you his covenant, which he commanded you to perform, even ten commandments; and he wrote them upon two tables of stone. Deu_4:40 Thou shalt keep therefore his statutes, and his commandments, which I command thee this day, that it may go well with thee, and with thy children after thee, and that thou mayest prolong thy days upon the earth, which the LORD thy God giveth thee, for ever. I encourage a word study on the word “Commandment” and you will see blessings for obedience and a curse for disobedience. ***What are we to do? *** Ecc_12:13 Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man. ***Did the Messiah come to do away with the law/Torah? *** Mat 5:17-20 Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them. For truly, I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not an iota, not a dot, will pass from the Law until all is accomplished. Therefore whoever relaxes one of the least of these commandments and teaches others to do the same will be called least in the kingdom of heaven, but whoever does them and teaches them will be called great in the kingdom of heaven. For I tell you, unless your righteousness exceeds that of the scribes and Pharisees, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. **Did Paul abolish the law/Torah? ** Rom_3:31 Do we then make void the law/Torah through faith? God forbid: yea, we establish the law. **Why should we keep God’s “Torah” (Instructions in righteousness)? ** To show our LOVE for Him and to be accounted unto righteousness: Mat_19:17 And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments. Luk_1:6 And they were both righteous before God, walking in all the commandments and ordinances of the Lord blameless. Joh_14:15 If ye love me, keep my commandments. Joh_14:21 He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him. Joh_15:10 If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Fathers commandments, and abide in his love. ***Do we really know Him if we do NOT keep His TORAH? *** 1Jn_2:3 And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments. 1Jn_2:4 He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. 1Jn_3:22 And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight. 1Jn_3:24 And he that keepeth his commandments dwelleth in him, and he in him. And hereby we know that he abideth in us, by the Spirit which he hath given us. 1Jn_5:2 By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments. 1Jn_5:3 For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous. 2Jn_1:6 And this is love, that we walk after his commandments. This is the commandment, That, as ye have heard from the beginning, ye should walk in it. **Are you really SET APART? ** Rev_12:17 And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ. Rev_14:12 Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus. ***Who gets to have the right to the tree of life?*** In Matthew 22:14 For many are called, but few are chosen. Rev_22:14 Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city. It is time to relearn His ways and the pattern of the Tabernacle. From the Garden to the tabernacle in the wilderness, Solomon’s Temple to the eternal kingdom. Many are saved by faith and have on the garment of salvation, but few put on the wedding garment, the robe of righteousness. See Isaiah 61:10, Matt 8:11-12, Matt 12: 12-13 Do you LOVE HIM? If so, show HIM in the way HE wants you to show and prove your love to HIM by being obedient to HIS word. Shalom.
