Do you agree with Bratton? Was it inappropriate for NYPD cops to turn their backs on the mayor at the officers funeral? I say, no. Their act wasnt an act of disrespect toward the deceased. With this comment, Bratton is sounding more concerned about disrespect toward the mayor, than about disrespect toward his officers, frankly (then again he has a history of paying the consequences of running afoul of mayors... remember that Giuliani forced him out once in a gargantuan battle of egos). In general, I have a lot of respect for Bratton. Hes a very smart man, and he helped revolutionize law enforcement. Although he does have a rather large ego. I once interviewed him, and I got only about three questions in because he kept talking non stop about... Bratton.
