Do you all remember Louie, the very elderly cat that the owners denied owning, despite the child saying it was their cat, he was full of fleas and had bad ear mites and survived out in all weathers and lived of scraps that neighbours gave him, well I took one look and took him straight to the vet, I did put a note through the door telling them what I had done but as expected they never rang .So Louie joined us here at the Ark and hes been an absolute pleasure,he enjoys his food but has never ventured down into the tunnel and into the house. How anyone could have discarded this boy is beyond me. Well sadly tonight he has fallen over twice and I think his back legs are failing him, we have brought him into the house so we can keep a closer eye on him, Im praying this is just a blip and he will be ok in a few days but if this is the start of his downward spiral then at least he has had 6 weeks of good food, shelter, warmth but most of all love
