Do you all remember the discussion about the lady going around from house to house asking for donations for her son whom she havent seen in 2 years because he was serving the country back in Afghanistan? Well i was confronted today, in front of Lakeside right where Sushi Madre is. The lady came up to me with a photo of her son in an Army uniform. She mentioned she wanted to do a welcome back bash for her son so she was collecting donations. I didnt want to assume she was a fraud right away but either way i had no cash with me. When i mentioned i only had my debit card she seemed a little pissed but i just thought i should share all this with you guys. The lady was around her 40s, dark long hair, average height, and fairly skinny. Let me know if you all have had the same experience.
