Do you believe youth are the future? That progressive students are the key to a progressive New Jersey? We invite you to participate in NJ Working Families Alliances inaugural Youth Organizers Unity Retreat of NJ (YOURNJ). This weekend will provide the tools and training young organizers need take their activism to the next level. Participants will be immersed in issue advocacy, fundraising, relationship building and media training, taught by fellow activists and their peers. WHEN: August 1st 6pm-9pm, August 2nd 8am-10pm, August 3rd 8am-2pm WHERE: Rutgers University Newark. COST: This retreat is FREE thanks to NJ Working Families and Rutgers.
