Do you consistently commit to making changes in your health and fitness, and then eventually fall back into the same old patterns? If so, a few things could be hindering progress: 1) Youve committed to unrealistic plan/program that might be too overzealous, or has you eating or eliminating specific foods that are impossible to maintain. 2) You could be looking for a quick fix and give up too soon. 3) Youve set unrealistic goals/expectations. 4) You have not established a strong enough why. 5) You reach your goal, only to get there and realize that your patterns are still there (more underlying questions here). If you fall into these categories, your best bet for success is to focus on the small seemingly insignificant changes to your daily habits. Over time, you will see changes in those same old patterns, and it wont feel quite as daunting to get there. Small changes over time will yield greater successes!
