Do you ever catch yourself doing something really silly and think to yourself you silly great pudding!? I was driving along a quiet country road and found a load of loose cattlebeasts, nice wee white bullocks. Some of them got into a bit of a panic as I approached, so obviously I had slowed right down and I opened the window to call to them and reassure them Its alright... its alright (which actually worked) Then I found another bunch of them around the next bend and got past them safely and was kind of wondering quite what to do about it maybe call the police or keep an eye out for a farm, when huge flipping great big tractor came the opposite way, so I flashed and flagged him, then, as he went by - without thinking - I put up my hands with index fingers extended on either side of my head like horns. He actually stopped and leaned out the back of the cab and through my open window I shouted Theres cattle all over the road back there! for which he thanked me and I thought situation dealt with. As I drove off I thought to myself you silly great nitwit - if he hasnt seen the movie Dances with Wolves he might not understand the Native Indian sign for Wokantonka. ...
