Do you ever feel like youve been transported back to the halls of high school....the past few days I feel like Im surrounded by mean girls. The flip side or positive side or what I call the Lynne side of things is that these people do you a favor. Ive always been a positive thinker an over achiever and a go getter. Ive had my fair share of hardships or obstacles placed in my path but Ive always chosen the high road, the least traveled road and am grateful for those TRUE friends and supporters that have helped me along the way. Ive recently spent that past several weeks helping someone I thought was a good friend, but recently their actions towards me and others that have helped them really make me think was this person really greatful for all that me and several people did for them? I feel as though they have forgotten and their memory is short and that is sad because me and others will be less likely to put aside our troubles and stresses to help them when they fall again. I just dont have the energy for these types of people. My focus is always on my children and family and friends.....and I put that aside and put all my energy on helping this person and their family. I hope this person spends some time reflecting on their behaviors over the recent days and words that were said about the people that opened their hearts and wallets and realizes they need to change their attitude to one of positive and thankful. I havent been more greatful for the weekend in a long time to have a break from the toxic environment Ive been in hoping that Monday brings some healthier attitudes with it. And, if it doesnt so be it. I will continue to be me the only me I know and if others dont like it....they can just well go suck it! LOL ;) Sorry to vent on my FB, just had to get this off my chest.
