Do you ever finish a book, and *immediately* want to pick it up and re-read it??? Ive read several Jodi Picoult books, and frankly was a little tired of the same MO, but her newest book was probably the best one Ive read! Its also written from several characters perspectives, and like her other stories, this a journey kept me wondering how it would end. Just when I thought I knew, it took a radically different direction! WOW! I love animals, and like Lone Wolf, this was packed with lots of animal facts (about elephants behavior, mentality, herd dynamics, maternal care, etc) woven into the story.
