Do you ever get the feeling that you just cant win? You do or make Thing 1 and Group A complains. So you switch gears and a little later do or make Thing 2 and Group B complains because they preferred Thing 1. No matter what you do, someone complains. This could apply to either your personal or professional life. (Heaven help those for whom it applies to both at the same time!) So when complaints from others get you down, whats your favorite pick-me-up? I love to indulge in some really decadent, delicious chocolate and a nice fresh hot cup of coffee or a wonderful glass of wine, depending on the time of day. In a pinch, any chocolate will do. Is it shameful to admit Ive been known to open a bag of semisweet chocolate chips just to have an immediate chocolate fix? Then I pretend Im with the group of people that loved Thing 1 and imagine what they have to say, then I do the same for the group that loved Thing 2. I create my own look at the brighter side of life! :)
