Do you ever have that desperate urge to know someone more? Some people, like the wind, brush past us and never catch our breath and yet some, also like the wind but only colder, give us goosebumps we rarely experience and leave us wanting more. They are the blooming flowers left to die in autumn, the breeze we ask for during summer days. We need more of them but we cannot find the right words to approach them, we do not know whether they will understand us or not. We wonder if they will shake our hand, glare at us or say they feel the same way. What if they don’t? Why are negative things always pushing through first in our minds? Go out there, hug someone who needs warmth (all of us do) and tell that person you have been admiring for so long how much you appreciate what they do. It does not matter if they do not accept you. You did it, pat yourself on the back and be grateful that you crossed a boundary even if it was not supported. One day it will be. Today is the day to do everything you have been scared of. We are people, we are terrified and we are beautiful. This is you and I learning how to live and we will succeed.
