Do you ever watch sports highlights shows on TV anymore? Ratings for highlights shows have been dropping steadily. and have hit an all-time low on NBC Sports Network. The Lights was the networks attempt at a straight-up highlights show with no analysis, no fluff, no Edge Breakdown stuff other networks do. It drew an average of 21,000 viewers a night, and will not be coming back. A paid commercial for a juice machine that ran in the same time slot on NBCSN slot drew 28,000 viewers.
