Do you ever wonder, when the prophet to the whole world has an audience of millions _and_ the news media listening carefully to his every word, how he chooses his topic? Could he prophesy of wars and the outcome of conflict? Could he decry great wickedness, like the abduction of hundreds of little girls by terrorist extremists, or human trafficking, or the drug trade? Couldnt he could go to God and get the GPS coordinates of Malaysia Airlines Flight 370? (Wow!) Could he not tell us about cosmology; the nature of the Big Bang; the Higgs Boson, Dark Matter, what is outside the expanding Universe, or how time relates to existence? How about foretelling the next pandemic, monster earthquake, or massive solar storm; and give us instructions for how to prepare? Or how to successfully implement Article VI of the Non Proliferation treaty, nuclear disarmament, ... and complete disarmament under strict and effective international control, to enable world peace. Or how about guidance to a great invention in biology that will eliminate world hunger or disease or aging? These would all be worthy. They would make a big splash. Foretelling great shifts in the stock market, outbreaks of disease, or great government secrets would surely convince many that he is a prophet and that people should listen to him and join his church. SO WHAT DOES he choose to talk about? May I suggest that there is a big secret embodied in his message. Hidden in plain sight. Which has implications that are earth shaking, nation changing. He is talking about principles that have direct and powerful impact on the lives of each individual that listens and believes, and on nations that subscribe and follow them. This was the answer he received: I have wept in the night For the shortness of sight That to somebody’s need made me blind; But I never have yet Felt a tinge of regret For being a little too kind
