Do you ever wonder which roads your food has to take to get to your plate? Think about it- Is it imported from another country? Do your fruits/vegetables unnaturally ripen in the dark, away from all natural light during the transportation process? What kind of life did the cow have in Ireland before it was slaughtered and shipped to your local supermarket? I wonder everyday.. Please eat locally grown, organic food. Know that the soil they were grown in, is the same soil youve walked on. The sun that ripens them is the same one shining on your face. This is no hippie rant- these are things we need to take into consideration every single day.
