....Do you feel really lonely inside.? Do you have a smile on your face while you are feeling rejectable in life? Are your insides remarkably different than what you show on the outside? have you given up on yourself that there will ever be anyone meaningful in your life? ....You are not alone. There are so many of us that never feel as if there will be anyone who will love us. It is one of the most painful situations that we can have. There is so little anyone can say to you that makes things better. Oh, dont worry someone will come for you; just be patient! Isnt that a horrible statement. How do they know is what we whisper to ourselves. we begin to compare ourselves to everyone else( at least those in relationships) and we come up empty and sad. ....Did you ever think that maybe it is your attitude that keeps people away? If someone does show interest, we pounce(jump) on them as if they were our last meal. We devour(eat up) their attention and begin to smother them with our neediness. We think that we are loving them when all we are thinking about is I am finally loved!Do you wonder then why they run away? ....The problem is that we do not love ourselves and we are waiting anxiously for THE person to appear and take us out of our misery. This is so unlikely to happen. When you hate YOU, why would you ever think that someone else will love you. The defeat now begins. This is the time when a light bulb needs to go off in your head. How many times have you gone through this before you get it. No one loves a smotherer( take your breath away). You hate it when someone does it to you. it is a turn off not a turn on! ....Time to focus on yourself and deal with who you are. Until you build a better sense of self, you will not meet THE person!
