Do you feel that your doctor is more likely to accurately diagnose your vestibular disorder if they are compassionate and empathetic or if they seem extremely confident and dismissive to your input? This article looks at the possibility that humility, empathy and compassion are not only great relational qualities, but may also the timeliness and accuracy of a diagnosis, while over confidence may hinder a physician from seeking outside opinions, reference materials and other outside assistance.
