Do you get that mid morning and afternoon energy drop and tend to reach for the sugary snacks to keep you going? Does it feel like your body is calling out for that biscuit, chocolate or caffeinated drink? Cravings are our bodies way of telling us it needs something. When we get those cravings, its a great chance to pause before we reach for the sugar and ask ourselves, what is it that I actually want right now. Am I: Thirsty? How much water have I had today? Lacking in nutrients? Have I nourished my body with real food? Emotional? Do I need some human contact, some time out, talk to a friend? Or, my favourite, do I need to MOVE? Have I been sitting most of the day, slouching or need to get my blood flowing? Heres a workout for you to try that will give you a whole lot more sustainable energy than whats inside the biscuit jar plus its guilt free.
