Do you guys like Impractical Jokers? What about winning free things? Cool, us too. This Thursday from 5:00-6:00 PM there will be a Bio Club meeting in UCrossing 242 (the swanky boardroom). Were going to be trying a test run of our upcoming Presentation-Off. The actual event is a fun way to work on presentation skills, simply getting people comfortable speaking in front of others. All those interested in participating in the Presentation-Off will be asked to submit a 10 slide PowerPoint of complete nonsense. The only rule is that the first slide has to have biology on it. (Even just the word biology.) The second rule is that there are no rules! Trip up your friends! Have fun with it. The officers will then shuffle up the presentations and give them out randomly to those participating. Each participant has to then present a 5-minute 10 slide PowerPoint to all those in attendance - no matter how absurd or random presentation is. At the end of the Presentation-Off well all take a vote on who did the best job trudging through the ridiculousness and the winner will win some prize. Taylor Matte and I will be test driving at this weeks meeting so come and watch us fail miserably and help us plan for this whacky event. Well be sending out an e-mail to gauge interest later on! Stay tuned! (Btw, this event was entirely thought of by watching Impractical Jokers.)
