Do you have a child between the ages of 6-12 who would like to participate in the review of a new computer program? As part of a grant from the National Center for Advancing Translational Sciences, 3C Institute is developing a new computer program called QUEST for Kids. The program is designed to help researchers easily gather information directly from children about their thoughts and feelings. Were looking for children to review this program and tell us what they think about it. If your child is between ages 6 and 12 and is willing to participate in the study (with your permission), your child will be asked to: • Complete an activity via QUEST for Kids and a similar activity via paper and pencil • Give feedback about the QUEST for Kids computer program on a brief survey and in a small group discussion As your child completes the activities, you will be asked to: • Observe your child’s progress through the program and answer a few questions about your opinions of the program The study will require an in-person visit to 3C Institute in Durham, N.C., and will take approximately one hour to complete. Children will receive a small gift at the end of the study. You will receive a $50 Amazon gift card for your time and effort in bringing your child to 3C’s office and completing a questionnaire.
