Do you have a compelling vision? Visualization is a powerful tool I dont think a lot of people even realize how powerful it is. When I was in outside sales selling advertising (and training sales reps) I remember people would say to me man...you make it look so easy And honestly it was. Because I prepared myself the day before. I would visualize me making the calls I needs to make. I would visualize me meeting the business owners. And even on the way to the appointments. I would visualize what the owners would look like and them responding favorable to my presentation. I did not even realize what I was doing and the power I had in my hands. It was only after I started reading books on the law of attraction and of self help books, did I come to the understanding of the power behind visualizing. Visualizing is a form of meditation too- but with your eyes open. So when they say you need to have a clear vision of what you want( the theys are the gurus) They are dead on with that advise. But there is another very important part. Let me illustrate it by giving you the definition of Compelling : tending to compel; overpowering: compelling reasons. having a powerful and irresistible effect; requiring acute admiration, attention, or respect: a man of compelling integrity; a compelling drama. You see you need a little more than just a vision. That vision has to ignite some emotion in you. Words like overpowering and irresistible have emotion attached to them. And when your vision aligned like that? There is now way you will NOT succeed. See back to my sales period when I was with a new rep. I was not going to fail. I had to show this new rep that sales could be made. So I had that compelling vision (that irresistible overpowering vision) I was not going to be denied.
