Do you have a mind to start a project in Mozambique, or any other - TopicsExpress

Do you have a mind to start a project in Mozambique, or any other country for that matter? The points you have to actively engage are: 1. Make sure you know and understand the law, even if it written in another language. Remember that most countries abide by Roman Law which was spawned from Great Brittan, but some countries have other landmark history, which makes their attributing council another set of legs. 2. Make sure you abide with all relevant legal requirements, especially those relating to land acts and wages. 3. Make sure you invite foreign Investors who understand legislative procedure and GAAP legislation. Not everybody have a clue about the requirements of the government concerning accounting principals. GAAP is universal and the accountancy/company law is not vague to those who need to know. 4. If you invite investors to take part in your experience the history shows that you have to avoid selling to friends and associates who reside elsewhere but especially in South Africa. This is especially true for people who do not understand accountancy and basic laws governing shares/ transfers/and mobility of holding companies. White South Africans in general have a tendency to disregard the law and this is especially true in the case of business owners who have no idea how secretarial work is done in the company legislative track. They also have a record of being the most cumbersome and intolerant race and culture to work with. 5. Always view your principal investors as predators. If you give them the most sincere quote they will aggravate your command with vehemence. A man with money is the worst kind of enemy man can encounter. 6. Make sure you deliver on time, penalties are a real time threat to a business trying to make a profit. 7. Always think of the law in terms of right and wrong. If you think you are doing something illegal, it will surface that you were in violation of that law by a manageable margin. Never disregard your sixth sense. 8. Stay on top of the knowledge pertaining to the exchange rate, it will serve you a plate of debt or adversely, some left overs. 9. Make sure your documents are signed by the correct official on the job. Make sure there is a stamp from that officials office to recognize his official office. 10. Make sure your documents are legalized by a Notarier. This is true for every document you receive from an Bank official, an accountant and a government office, or any official ordinance. Keep copies of every document you are issued. 11. never take anything for granted. There is always something in the legal perspective you might have missed. Get it and grind it.
