Do you have that feeling that life is repetitive? Do you have - TopicsExpress

Do you have that feeling that life is repetitive? Do you have that feeling that life is repetitive? We get up, eat, get ready, and go off to carry out the daily activities, come home, relax, eat, and go to sleep. Exciting stuff! In our NZ bubble life can seem pretty ‘cruisey’; the suffering of other nations so often portrayed in the media seems so foreign to us. Do we limit our prayers for events and circumstances rather than praying for the people and leaders of those nations affected. Our prayers for each other inside the bubble can provide comfort and at times remind ourselves of the hope we have in Christ. Our prayers for those outside our immediate environment can petition God to ease the burden of the suffering saints in far off lands. We can call on God to move mightily in the people in power of the far reaches of the earth to enter in a relationship with Jesus. I think it better to ask for a harvest, in that way people through the Holy Spirits guidance will change their courses of conduct. We can’t always touch the affected physically, but the spiritual avenue of prayer is always at our disposal, therefore believe God is listening and seek His face. First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people, for kings and all who are in high positions, that we may lead a peaceful and quiet life, godly and dignified in every way. This is good, and it is pleasing in the sight of God our Saviour, who desires all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. (1 Timothy 2:1-4 ESV).
