Do you hear what I hear? David Tellenhuesen The season is here. Certainly we have already begun preparations. Commit to a budget Supplies, gifts. Decorations, glassware Recharge batteries, preparations!!! Already planning for the next one! Is this really the point? Stuff to do! What about the undone stuff? This is usually the list that undos us. Life from jesus. He is the gift life offers. He overcomes the to do list. Doesnt matter what your history has been, what house you live in. The peace, gentleness, self control and serenity He gives is abundant life! He is the embodiment of Promises made and kept. He is the life giver. Beware of life takers. Kill, steal and destroy. Negativity- false guilt, manipulations, control and coerciveness. Passive aggressive behaviour. Check your own spirit! Make sure you are wrapping up truth and grace; not gossip, rumours, and divisiveness. Jesus promises Real eternal more and better life!!!! The Lord is good to me. He gives us more. Not just the seeds, but the whole apple wrapped around it. Everything comes up lacking without Jesus. Everything starts now- we dont have to wait for heaven, for joy, peace..... Give something from you! From your portion of more. Model faith, hope, loving care, time, prayers raised up, acts of kindness all for others. Jesus makes your life His purpose. My purpose is to give a rich and satisfying life. Not necessarily easy, life so we can be free, not left to our own devices. No turf mentality. Blessed- not having to pretend Learn to enjoy and celebrate. Jesus was Focused on a purpose for our lives. Advent brings a whole new ways to live life. Live out the original purpose for Holy Days. Bring God into focus. Goodness, mercy, grace, truth. Live your life each day as a gift from Jesus.
