Do you know Him? Do you really Know GOD If you are currently not walking with God, please allow me to invite you to join this wonderful family of God that I belong to. God created us and longs to have a personal relationship with every one of us. He doesn’t just want you to be a “Christian” by religion – It’s honestly not about religion, it’s about relationship. God loves you so very much and longs to be your best friend, your father, your mother, your sister, your brother, your confidant, your savior, your provider, your protector, your king, your all. He is patiently waiting… God’s desire is for us all to live and experience abundant lives in our daily walk with him. He wants us to grow in him and get to know him better every day. He longs for us to find complete joy in him, through his son Jesus Christ and the power of God’s Holy Spirit in us. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly.” (ESV) Jeremiah 31:3b “…I have loved you with an everlasting love; I have drawn you with loving-kindness.” (NIV) Isaiah 49:15-16 “Can a mother forget her nursing child? See, I have written your name on the palms of my hands.” (NLT) More Bible Verses About God’s Love For Us We were all created in God’s image but man fell , and we are all born into sin. The wages of sin is death (aka hell, eternity away from God). So sin leads unto death. But God loves us so much, he sent his son Jesus Christ to die for our sins. Jesus cancelled our debt – He took our place! God longs to reconcile us back to himself. When we come to God through Jesus Christ, seeking him with sincere hearts, confessing our sins and turning away from our past, he forgives us, and we start afresh. We begin a relationship with God, finding joy & peace in Him. We have the assurance of eternal life (aka heaven, eternity with God). We show our love to God by loving others, glorifying God and by doing what pleases him, i.e. seeking God’s approval, pleasing God, and putting God first in all we do. Romans 3:23 “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” (NIV) Romans 6:23 “For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord.” (NLT) John 1:1,14 “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.” (KJV) - The Word here refers to Jesus Christ. John 3:16 “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” (NIV) John 14:6 “Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” (ESV) 1 Cor 15:3-4 “For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received: that Christ died for our sins in accordance with the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day in accordance with the Scriptures.” (ESV) May we all learn to walk with our Almighty God Amen
