Do you know a great student who would LOVE to go to Lane Tech (a National Blue Ribbon school) - but did not make the rounds last year? I know many parents will be interested in this news - Lane Tech is seeking candidates for incoming Sophomores and incoming Juniors. There might be a possibility for some incoming Seniors. Transfer applications are being accepted starting this week. (not sure when close date is) Following is info from their admissions page on transfers: Lane is currently accepting transfer students. Students should complete the online application by clicking here. In addition to the online application, students should scan and email the following documents to Tara Carroll, Director of Admissions at [email protected]: •An official transcript showing all high school course work, including your semester 1 grades for the current school year, GPA, and class rank •A copy of all high school standardized test scores (Please see the counselor at your current school to obtain these documents) •One letter of recommendation from a teacher within the last year •A school profile •A copy of medical / immunization records •The conduct report completed by a school official and must be returned in a sealed envelope or emailed from the school officials account.
