Do you know about bats?..How do insect-eating bats find their prey?...late me tell you as follows..insect eaters they just do process known as echolocation where sound waves are bounced off objects, and the time taken for the wave to return is used to identify and locate the object where there is in finding food. The behaviour of emitting sound(by various mechanism)and use echo to locate something, can also referred as SONAR which means SOund NAvigation and Ranging. But in animal we call it BIOSONAR and this means of finding food also used by Whales, dophins and some shrews(the latter for communication and habitat investigation pusposes).......thanks
