Do you know how to shut up the narrator in your head? The one that says, There goes a car, or I need to do this and that, or some other ramblings. Do you know how to think without language? Weve been conditioned to think with language, but I know as babies and as nonhumans we didnt need language to think. I recognize that before a thought is translated mentally in words, it is conceived as a formless idea. Imagine--if we could think without language, our thought process would be so much more perceptive, quick, and efficient.
