Do you know its true! The older you get the less tolerant you get with freeloaders ... Ive just called time on a fellow Manager, a former colleague in the NHS who basically has been using me as a secret Management Coach and Mentor for years...I truly regarded this person as a friend but in all the time weve both been off work, did she want to meet up for coffee? No! Did she come for lunch or just to hang out and pass the time... ? No! Now when I mention Im keen to go back to work she wants to get together and do a session strategic planning together and then when I suggested she seek Professional advice ... I got patronized I dont need a younger woman to teach me to suck eggs... Well love, Im sure you dont but youve needed me the last 7 years to do your job as well as my own in silence taking all the credit for yourself without a whinge from me! ... Go on then! Rock on, fill your boots .... If you think you dont need my Leadership skills or advice then off you go! I wish you the very best of luck! If you need me Ill be drinking coffee and hanging out with some real friends! Honestly some people. Talk about a liberty! ... Haha thats it, moody over! ;-) x
