Do you know people who are saved but arent happy? We all do. Being saved means you accepted that Jesus did die for you and you believe that. It doesnt necessarily mean you have let him in to fill all the hollow places. All of us have our hollow places, insecurities and fears, past sadness and hurts, regret and pain that have a piece of us. Therapy is an option (tried that just felt like I was complaining at a chick who didnt know me). It wasnt until I broke down and wept to Jesus, and turned myself over to him that something changed. That some of the hollow was filled. I was already saved, I believed, what I meant was for him to be in control instead of me. For this life to be his not mine. That was when things changed for me. I cried for days after that, I was just so humbled and, I lack the words to explain it. Changed? Happy? Loved? I know there are still hollow places, fears, and I hope one day that my relinquishing control to him can be complete and I suspect then all the hollow places will all be filled. I dont know about you guys but I am a hard headed weasel that struggles with doing all I should. The one thing that I do know is I dont have a chance at true, deep happiness without his guidance and love. I am asking him to fill my hollow places and help me to be the person he created me to be. I truly hope that you will too. Let him fix the hurts of your past so you can be the person you were created to be and live out your destiny in him, and be truly and deeply happy. That is what he wants for us, and it is what I want for you. Just want it for yourself, you deserve it. You are beautifully and perfectly created and your time to live the life you were made for is now!
