Do you know something that I find to be very sad? That there are so many people who are against the tithe and they say to give to the poor instead--but they dont give anything to the poor themselves. They say we should tithe our 10% to the poor, yet their fists are tightened around the money they have. I have found this to be true, time and time again....... If people would put their money where their mouths are, if they would give instead of just saying what other people should do, how many less of the poor would there be?
