Do you know that political promises are incessantly becoming regular phenomena in this country call Cameroon? The composers of our national Anthem created the impression that this country was a land of promise, a land of glory. Is this notion still true today? If yes, why are our young people, the brains of this nation running to China, Equatorial Guinea, Gabon, South Africa, and some other countries which cannot even be compared to Cameroon? Even today, it seems University education in this country is fast loosing its value. Go to our urban metropolis, you will sadly discover some of your relatives with degrees in their pockets riding commercial motor cycles commonly called Okada. For some lucky educated youth to be employed in Cameroon today, it must come through presidential promises. As our academic institutions keep graduating students every year, our unemployment rate keeps rising. So what shall we do with our young people? God help us!
