Do you know that when a food is labelled with this green symbol it means that was treat with radiation? 1) It is a process used to kill bacteria and really kills 95% of the bad ones; 2)Could damage the nutrients of the food (Vitamins A,B,C and E are very sensitive to irradiation); 3)Could form free radicals or combine with existing chemical releasing new toxins (under studies). And also it is a high cost process and what to do with the radioactive waste? What do you think about it?
